Leica World in Wetzlar
My Tele-Elmarit 2.8/90 mm dates from the end of the 1980s. In order to have it coded for use with today's digital Leica M cameras, I made my way to Wetzlar. After placing the order, I learned that the 6bit encoding would take about five to seven months. That's a long time, but I left my lens there anyway. I can only speculate as to the reason for the long wait. I used the rest of the day to explore new views of the Leica world.
